Lionsgate will be releasing John Woo's Silent Night (2023) on 4K UHD tentatively on January 30th. So far just Walmart Exclusive Steelbook is currently up, but a standard 4K will likely be coming as well.

It super sucks Walmart got the Lionsgate 4K steelbooks. Can’t imagine actually going into a store, their app is pretty junky too.

High price for LG. Usually they were on the cheaper side.

If the movie is good (seeing it Saturday) I might pick up the steel if it drops in price.

The new Hunger Games movie SB went up for the same price at WM, but then dropped down to $34.96, so maybe it'll be the same here.

I live near a Wal-Mart that only sells dvds, so I'll be on the ****ed end of this deal.

I think the only WM exclusive I've ever seen was that Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey steelbook. All the other ones they've had? Only pictures on the internet.

That leaves the website, where I can order and get damaged shit shipped in a bubble, and pay $5 more (not even including shipping) for the displeasure. At least returns are easy.

The fact that they charge more online than in-store just sucks.

Does WM automatically price adjust like Amazon? It's been a long time since I pre-ordered from them.

Yea I agree. The one by me never has new release movies out on time and then you'd have to ask someone and they'd either look at you like your crazy or disappear for 15 minutes and come back and say they couldn't find it.. I gave up getting movies from them years ago.For me best buy was always in and out.

yeah, i got burned on the lords of dogtown steelbook (dropped $5 at release)..

apparently they're also bad at canceling pre-orders, which makes no sense to me why it's not just instant. so i got two of them, because the original higher-priced one never canceled. now i gotta return, and i'm sure they're marking me down on that, or for replacing damaged steelbooks.

on the plus side, they seem to be shipping steelbooks with an extra cardboard sheet each side, when they use the corrugated cardboard mailers, which is something i haven't seen anyone else do

I hate hate hate hate hate this strore exclusives that don't ship overseas. Really hope to have the same steel from UK available everywhere as it happened in the past. Otherwise it will be an expensive import. First my friend will buy it for me from wallmart and then will ship to my re shipping address and then from my re shipping address to me here.
