Well, I'll definitely plan to own the first ten in the line, and am looking forward to Jeans Blues and Bullet Train very much, but Tachigui (Amazing Lives of the Fast Food Grifters) looks like a feature-length Monty Python animation. Perhaps it's a fascinating experiment, but the trailer didn't encourage me that I need to preorder this one.

Couple of things I'm confused about. Is Lovely Complex Love.Com The Movie from 2006 as Discotek says it's from 2008?

Also, it's a Shochiku film, so it looks like they now also have a Shochiku deal.

Yeah, it's the same movie.

They probably confused the premiere date with Viz's old DVD since that was released in 2008.

Anyway, I'll give this another shot since I remember not liking this as much as the anime.

Noting here I just got my copies of Electric Dragon 80000V and MXC: Collection 1, and the spine reads MXC as being a Nihon Nights title (NN19), while Electric Dragon is listed as Toku Time (TT10).

Gosh I really need to pick up Robo Geisha, and Electric Dragon 8000 V I like Discotek getting into live action Japanese films its great looking forward to whenever Party 7 gets announced for a release date. I still need to pick up Shoguns Samurai and Bullet Train at some point as I'm missing both those titles too.

Still no release date for Party 7 man I wonder if it got cancelled I hope not as that's the one I've been waiting on the most.

They brought it up a couple of times during tonight's stream, so I doubt it's cancelled. They didn't actually show the next batch of pre-orders this time. We're still waiting on release dates for Robo Geshia, Kekko Kamen, Kikaider, etc. So it's not alone.

Doggone it well hopefully we get a pre-order announcement soon along with Robo Geisha as those are the ones I'm really interested in, and are two titles I've been waiting on for a number of months now. I'm just glad it wasn't cancelled as it looks so dang fun and over the top.

Unfortunately, I missed the stream, but this time there was only four titles that interested me two of them being anime, one a cartoon, and the other being the remaining Terrifying Girls High School films. As I'm not really into most live action anime adaptations they're just not my cup of tea.

Sharkskin Man and Peach Hip Girl is really good. Reminds me of a Japanese Tarantino film.

That's a lot of live action announced tonight! I wonder if that's for all of 2025.

I wouldn't be surprised if that's it live action wise for the year as I'm sure Discotek has a lot of anime planned that they didn't announce in that stream. As there was definitely a surprisingly small amount of anime in that stream. Japanese Tarantino that sounds pretty cool might need to add that to my list from that stream so that's 5/24 for me from that stream.
