He is busy but I doubt it's on Transformers 2. Rumor has it the shooting was delayed until june 2008 due to the recently ended writers guild strike. Then again you could be right. He might be doing some pre-production work.

I'm telling everybody... I bet he's waiting on DreamWorks/Paramount to announce it's going to release to Blu-ray again before he comments on today's news. He, just like everybody else has to know it's coming.

Or... it could be that it's 6:34 P.M. on the East Coast, but 3:34 on the West Coast, or some other funky time (depending on where he's currently at).

Still, I think it's the above.

Ya, Transformers 2 isn't ready to shoot yet. He just finished the script. It still needs a treatment or two, official studio approval, and then a shooting script will be formulated while sets are built.

That said, I think Michael Bay will throw a party once Paramount makes it official. He worked super-hard on that Blu-ray version of Transformers that's been locked away by Paramount, according to insiders, since the fall.

Mike, if you're reading this, I will totally bring the Guinness.
