Mad TV - A cruder, oftentimes less corny sketch comedy show compared to SNL. Not saying it was better, but a nice alternative. I still prefer In Living Color to both.

X-Files and Lois & Clark debuted in 1993.

None of these shows began in 1995. I assume the OP meant TV series that premiered in 1995, not just any show that happened to be airing in 1995. The three they listed all debuted in '95.

Looking at the 1995 debut list I found here:

https://www.imdb.com/list/ls061130006/

And I gotta say it's not a great year for me. I know there are a few series that are fan favorites like Star Trek: Voyager and Xena, but I never got into them.

Nowhere Man and American Gothic started off strong for me but wore out their welcomes by the end of season one.

Friends - I'm going to bend the rules a bit since it premiered in the 94/95 season so it was still a 'new' show

Where was that stated as a criterion?

It's not directly stated. You should be able to make an inference as to what the criteria is since the title of the thread says "1995 is 30", as in the 30th Anniversary of the year; and the OP only listed films that debuted in 1995. Otherwise what would be the significance of highlighting the fact that it's specifically the 30th Anniversary of 1995? The title of the thread isn't, "What's your favorite TV shows of the mid 90s?"

My shows back in those days were Full House, Family Matters, and Home Improvement. I started watching Walker, Texas Ranger in the fall of 1995.

God bless you and the remaining cast members always!!!

Holly (a girl who still loves each show)

P.S. In the spring it will be 30 years since Full House ended.
