Just saw this is releasing on 1/24; I searched and couldn't find any threads here. If anyone has pics of the interior (or if there's a previous thread) links would be appreciated. I ordered one but would prefer an English version.

I received a regular blu-ray copy from Amazon.it and the disc is completely dead.I tried it on Samsung and LG players,disc starts to load but then the screen just goes blank.First time this has happened to me since Indicator´s Fat City release.This sucks...

They region locked it (even though that goes against the 4K region coding standards) and they did it in such a way that "any region" players still can't read it, you MUST have a Region B player to watch. Someone emailerd them and their response was:

Translation: ""e apologize for the inconvenience and inconvenience caused. To address the problem encountered, we are producing a new edition of Killers of the Flower Moon in the 4Kult series."

In other words you have to buy a different version to watch the film. Unbelievable.

Thank you for the reply but my issue has nothing to do with region locking,I´m in Finland so naturally I have a region B player.My two blu-ray players won´t play the disc ,simple as that.I checked the feedback from Amazon.it and it seems I´m the only one with this problem,strange.

Several people on this site have confirmed that, if you have an all region 4K player, that can switch to Region B for regular blu ray, that switching to Region B just like you do for regular region B blu ray ALSO will unlock the 4K, as well. But you must have a modded player that can switch between Regions, and switch it to region B. This will unlock the 4K, as well.

Gotcha. I don't have a region free player because 4K discs are supposed to be region free by default. I'm going to have to sell the steel, fortunately I didn't remove the shrink wrap.

There are English subtitles for those, but not burnt it. You get a choice between English and Italian as the disc boots up.

So do we have English subs for the Osage dialogues or we only got English subs for the whole movie?

There are no burnt in subtitles. When the disc boots up, before the main menu, you can choose English or Italian. When you chose English, the Osage dialogue sequences have English subs and the silent reels have info cards that are now in Italian but have English translation subs below them. There are no English subs for the English dialog, just Italian. A small trade off to get the film in 4K with Dolby Vision. I'm happy to finally have a watchable 4K disc, even if I'm still frustrated about the initial release burning us on the region locking.

Is this the same for the standard BD?

It says on this site that the subs are forced...

I can confirm that it has English subtitles for the Osage spoken parts on the standard Blu-ray disc.
