Hopefully this means we'll see an announcement from Lionsgate this week for their planned launch titles.

A Hunger Games UHD boxset with no goddamned banding would probably entice me to get into UHD Blu on day 1, no joke.

I REALLY hope that UHD Blu is what it takes to eliminate the banding in Lionsgate's titles. But I am going to be VERY picky when it comes to rebuying movies in the new format. I'm fine buying new titles I don't have already, but replacing my existing Blu-rays will be limited to titles I REALLY love and know will watch enough to justify. I like THG films but I doubt they will be replaced, though I will hold off on Mockingjay Part 2 for the UHD version. I will double dip for Sicario, but only because I didn't pay for the BD of it. The only other title I can think of from Lionsgate of recent memory that I may double dip on is John Wick.

For those interested, the 4 launch titles from Lionsgate are Last Witch Hunter, Ender's Game, Sicario, and Expendables 3. The first 3 come with Dolby Atmos(all but Ender's Game feature that on Blu-ray) and Expendables 3 has DTS:X(the Blu-ray had that as well).

I'll definitely upgrade Ender's Game if there's a noticeable improvement in video and audio, and I might get Expendables 3 if it includes both cuts.

EDIT: From the press release: Each 4K UHD release will be packaged with a Blu-ray and Digital HD copy and will contain all previously released special features. Sicario and The Last Witch Hunter will be available at the suggested retail price of $42.99. Ender’s Game and The Expendables 3 will be priced at $22.99 SRP.

Yet another reason I may upgrade Ender's and Expendables 3. Those are very nice prices.

Um not quite only 'The Last Witch Hunter' is DTS-X - the other three are Atmos

That was a typo, you're right. Last Witch Hunter and not Expendables has DTS:X(on both UHD and Blu-ray).
