it's coming from Paramount so go see it theatrically, as there won't be a 3D Blu-ray release.

This movie has potential to be amazing in 3D, with the kaijus and such. Good fit for it.

This is now going direct to Paramount+ On December 15, 2021, so it seems unlikely we will ever be able to see this in 3D

If that's the case then does this even qualify as a 3D movie?

I guess we'll have to see if there are any international theatrical releases as with this coming from Paramount, we already know that there won't be a 3D Blu-ray.

The 3D version has been made. There are credits for it on the internet.

It's kind of like the latter part of the 50's 3D boom, 1954-55, when they were shooting 3D movies but only releasing them in 2D, several only to have their 3D premieres 50-60 years later and several still unseen to this day.

These corporations want us to be slaves of their contents so we pay them monthly fees to things that most won't watch because it's humanly impossible. Let's not think of if internet drops quality or is cutted... those contents are no longer accessible by those who payed.

This is available in 3D via Apple TV on the Vision Pro. I don't believe it's available anywhere else in 3D.

Haven't watched it yet, but based on the trailer, it looks to be a great fit for 3D.
