This was on my 'holy grail' list, too. Didn't think it would hit Blu-ray, but it's definitely great to see that it is.

I may make an exception to my 'no full-price/pre-orders' rule in this particular case.

Great movie. Just be prepared for a LOT of dialogue. But it’s smart, intellectually stimulating and very entertaining. This is a film that I didn’t believe would ever see the light of day on Blu-ray! Thank goodness for small miracles. Definitely day 1 purchase for me!!!

One thing.... It's been years since I've seen this. My politics has changed a lot since I've seen it (more conservative) and so I hope this holds up for me.

I'm not a huge Oliver Stone fan but I've been meaning to get around to watching this in full after catching some of this on cable years ago. This will be a rare pre-order for me as well. I have a feeling this one is going to be a quickish sell.

Good news! TR is an excellent film that really gets under your skin, and one of OS's best. Too bad it's fairly underrated & not discussed much these days. The storyline is especially interesting because it takes place in the late '80's, when I suspect a lot more people were listening to radio talk shows like this, than in this era.

One of the scenes that especially creeped me out was when

The fact that Barry Champlain (Bogosian)

For some reason, I like watching this in the late Fall/Winter months, even though it's not a holiday film. But, I guess that means it's time to watch the DVD once again - especially now, since the Blu is forthcoming & I really want to revisit this.

Unless they add tons of special features and a 5.1 soundtrack, I will stick with my Digital HD copy.
