I didn't like this movie very much when it was first released, but over the years it has become one of my favorites. It holds up very well.

Like all of Luc Besson's 'action' movies, there's hardly any action in it.

Is it a classic? Cult seemed apt but a genuine classic I'm not so sure.

It was the exact same for me, pretty disappointed when I saw it at the theater but after a few rewatch it has become one of my fav sci-fi movie.

It's was my favourite movie of all time when it released and that lasted a few years. I loved the world building and the insane imagination
