Love this show to pieces! That season three premiere today was great!

What a hell of an April Fool's joke to premiere the new season last night without warning with the rest of the season not airing until the summer. I completely missed this last night and I'm kind of irritated I did. I hear the episode was great which is great but still, irritated they didn't announce this in some way.

You can watch the episode here as well Didn't know of the premiere until like 10 minutes before I went to bed last night. Would of stayed up but early start for work and thankfully found the above link to watch it. So happy to see new Rick and Morty

It was one hell of an insane/busy episode. Brilliant writing as usual.

I'm a major fan of the better episodes, which are unbelievably well written and surprising in every possible way. In some cases I do think "The Simpsons did it." (or Futurama), but they always seem to find a different and mostly original angle, so no problem there. The show is right up my alley. Only one complaint, when it's not good, it's close to bad. I find the interdimensional cable episodes extremely annoying and unfunny. Other than that, great show! If they would manage somehow to have some more attention to the characters and we would actually care for them because of it, it might become one of my favorite shows ever. Just needs that extra push for me.

Those interdimensional cable episodes are hilarious IMO, but I've watched every episode multiple times so maybe some of them are an acquired taste.

Yeah, I noticed there are two groups when it comes to those episodes. There's those who really dislike it, like me, and those who seem to love it. The only thing I was thinking was "C'mon, what is this? Sounds like a drunk person improvising right there on the spot. Annoying and unfunny." Meanwhile I learned that's exactly what happened, lol. Never could have thought that. He actually IS drunk and improvising programs... That's how they did this.

The first one was amazing, the second one was slightly less funny because it wasn't a novel concept anymore. They should never do anything twice!

Season 3 premiere on April Fool's Day...the best non-prank prank they could have done.

I like improvisational comedy, and Morty's stammering and Rick's incessant burping and don't-give-a-shite attitude tickles my funny bone. I get joy out of the intentionally awkward line readings. It's part of the show's charm.

This and Archer appeal to my animation wants lately. They just have a style that seems to be entertaining from an adult perspective.

I just signed up for a free month of Hulu just so I could watch this. My lord. This show is one of a kind. It's darkly disturbing in the most hilarious way, and I god damn love it.

It's simply some of the best animation ever. Absolutely legendary.

I watched it on Danish Netflix because the PQ and AQ is better there than Hulu

All caught up now with the show. My god. This is genius. F***ing genius. There's no other way to describe it. A masterpiece of dark animated sci-fi comedy. And that season 3 premiere was balls to the wall great too. Can't wait to see more this summer!

If that doesn't play before my theatrical showing of Alien: Covenant I'm going to be a sad panda.
