I never know whether these threads are in the right section - seems wrong to post them in Movies section.


Anyway, the film 'Servants' is on Amazon Prime and Apple TV. I rented it. It's an account of how Priest seminary for young boys in early 1980s Czechoslovakia was investigated by the secret police and communist ultras. It's quite harrowing, but is very similar to Pawel Pawlikowski's 'Ida'. Fans of that film will 100% want to check Servants out.



Amazon Prime looks so shoddy on my TV. Banding everywhere that didn't do this beautifully shot film justice at all. Blacks not so black. It's stunning to look at and needs to be on something physical. Streaming is garbage.

This film needs a Blu Ray, make it happen someone, please
