Sources tell The InSneider that Tony Gilroy is shopping around a new script titled “Behemoth,” which has Oscar Isaac attached to star.

Plot details are being kept under wraps, but the film is said to be “a drama about a cellist.” There are multiple studio interested in acquiring the package which comes four years after Gilroy attained massive commercial success on the Disney+ Star Wars series “Andor.” +

In an interview about the series finale of Andor, Gilroy mentioned that getting this movie off the ground is looking incredibly difficult, despite the critical success of Andor:

GILROY: I wrote a movie Behemoth! that I’m trying to get off the ground. It’s about movie music, the people who make it. I have Oscar Isaac. I’ve been trying to raise the money, but I’ve been having a lot of trouble.

Pedro Pascal in talks to join

Following a busy 2025 that included an Emmy nominated performance and a Marvel Studios movie, Pedro Pascal isn’t looking to slow down as he is in talks to star in the Searchlight Pictures pic Behemoth! from writer-director Tony Gilroy. Searchlight recently came on to the project which Gilroy will write and direct. While the deal is not closed sources say Pascal wants to do it and things are headed in the right direction.

Plot details are vague at this time but Gilroy has said in interviews that the film revolves around a cellist.
