One of the best films of the period, with a truly iconic performance by Crispin Glover, not to mention a convincingly unhinged one from Hopper and possibly a career-best turn by Keanu Reeves. Kino have been on an Olive-like tear as of late!

Cool, I've wanted to see this for years after reading Roger Ebert's review of it in one of his old video guides. I never got around to it. One of Ione Skye's very few good movies!

This is one of the films I've wanted the most on Blu-ray since I started buying the format and when that Kino deal was struck this is the movie I was hoping for the most ... ah I can't keep my excitement ...

Love this flick also, but only when in the right mood(s).

Be interested in reviews. I caught it on HD cable not long ago and it didn't look good, at all. I didn't pop in the dvd and compare but would bet it would be a draw if I had. No idea what they used for the print though, this has to be better. Pleasant surprise to see it coming to blu.

I will pick this up for sure.

That said, whenever I see a release like this, somewhat unexpected but terrific film that is kind of under the radar, my first thought it always still, "where is Pump Up The Volume?"

Ditto and yes it sure is underrated. It's such a great film with a killer soundtrack that suits the film perfectly.

I'm so happy I didn't cave in and buy a used copy of this on DVD here in town for like $6.00 a few months ago.

Ugghh, why these guys? Looking around at some of their titles it appears they're one of those companies that puts everything on BD-25s ... and charge a premium on top of it.
