Default Moving a TV

Wasn't sure where else to post this.

I'm moving out of state and was looking to see if anyone has tips for the best way to wrap my TV screen so it doesn't get damaged or scratched when I move.

I have a 64".

Get some good moving blankets. You might be able to pack it in bubble wrap in addition to the blankets since it is not just a local move.

Always keep it upright. Never lay it down. I'd place cardboard over the screen, blankets over the whole thing, and wrap it with cellophane. If you are placing it in a trailer or truck, place it where it is surrounded by items that can protect it (i.e., non-shifting). Secure it well.

For additional protection, use expanding spray foam to fill in the empty spaces in the truck
[Show spoiler](just kidding)
.

Good luck.

They sell boxes to ship TVs in, they come with corner protectors and padding in most cases.

I'll just tell you how I did my two big screens when I moved last summer.

So I had a couch and two recliners, I put blankets on both the 58in, and 65in and put them in the middle, side by side. They were in a trailer so they couldn't slide, also the driver was my cousin who did well no speeding up or fast turns. Overall they made it without any damage.

I second that vote for the TV moving boxes you can get at Home Depot. Cheap, easy, effective.
