When I saw this on Facebook a few minutes ago, my first thought was that the poster here on Blu-ray.com who uses this movie for an avatar is going to be really happy. Come to think of it, I'm going to be pretty happy myself.

Michael Dudikoff posted a picture of himself and Sam Firstenberg doing the commentary on Facebook months ago, but I hadn't found any further news on this until now. I'm a big Dudikoff fan, so I'm very excited this is coming to Blu-ray, especially since it never got a DVD release in the US. I bought an old rental store copy years ago and it's got a couple of horrible dropouts, in key places (of course).

Would love to see more Dudikoff on Blu -- American Ninja, American Ninja 2, Platoon Leader -- but for now I'll be very happy having Avenging Force in high def.

Yep. Dudikoff's character is still called Matt Hunter.

Night Hunter is a better title...

Cannon changed it from sequel to prequel, I think, when the much younger Dudikoff was cast.
