Gal Guardians/Grim Guardians is getting a co-op sequel, the first one was pretty fun so I'll definitely check this out.

Gal Guardians: Servants of the Dark takes the tight action players enjoyed in “Gal Guardians: Demon Purge” and vastly increases the exploration and collection elements, shifting genres completely to a full Metroidvania for an all-new experience.

Servants of the Dark moves the setting from a single demonic castle to the entirety of the demon world. Players will control two demon maids as they explore the underworld: Kirika and her younger sister Masha. They each have different attacks and abilities, requiring players to switch between the two as they explore each area, upgrade their weapons, defeat demonic bosses, and revive their master, the Demon Lord Maxim.

Additionally, Gal Guardians: Servants of the Dark features online 2-player co-op, allowing two players anywhere in the world to control the two sisters simultaneously. My guess is the Xbox version is getting censored, probably adding the mist that appears in PS games.



I suppose it is better than canceling the Xbox release completely like they did with Gal Gun Returns...

Game is still on track to release 3/27 for Switch, Steam, and PS4/PS5.

Also, Xbox version is back with a release date of June 6th and I guess this message means nothing was censored. The Inti Creates JP twitter account said "gameplay content is the same" so I figured they just kept the game and changed some art. Might have been a translation error...
