Saw the first episode and wasn't bad. I'm most likely biased since I used to work (long time ago) in Four Seasons in Wailea, Maui.

The show seems to be an exaggerated look at privileged tourists who may seem to have everything but really carry a lot of emotional baggage.

I'm really digging this so far. I don't like only getting one episode a week.

Mike White captures the nuances of these characters perfectly, and he has the ideal cast to carry it out.

I like Jake Lacy as an actor and he is playing "that guy," the major a-hole. He's so spot-on that it's almost triggering since I've known guys like that.

I’m really into it too. Spot on writing, lots of funny moments and every character has something interesting about them IMO.

I have to say that I didn't know what to expect from this show when it started but I've been really enjoying it. It's very good.

Surprised this thread hasn’t attracted much attention. This has been a wild and Enjoyable ride this summer. Kinda sucks it ends tonight.

HBO is still great with their series IMO.

It's been a wild ride and definitely sad this is the last we'll see of this group. Glad it got renewed since there's a lot of potential.

Really like this one. Had me excited every week to see more. Mike White is a talented writer and this cast really sold their characters every step of the way.

I definitely enjoyed the series. Certainly some interesting characters and some breathtaking scenery.

Looking forward to the second season.

This was a good show. A few of the characters I really felt for and at least one I despised. (Paula)

Surprised I ended up caring and identifying with Quinn the most. That really touched me. And Belinda.

Pleasantly surprised by how much I liked this limited series! It sucked me in and I enjoyed every minute

Now I’m hearing that Hulu’s NINE PERFECT STRANGERS (with Nicole Kidman among many others) is being compared to this. Will have to give that a try

Just found out there will be a season 2. Like a revolving door of guests/characters.

Pretty cool. Will it be the same message though? That to the wealthy, people like Armond and Kai and Belinda (the working staff) are disposable…sacrificing not just their dignity, but their life?

I saw this advertised a while back and thought I should check it out. Wellllll I decided to watch it the other night and it sucked me in so I ended up finishing it the next day.

I was pleasantly surprised at this one! I hope it gets a few Emmy's because it definitely deserves it. The show is not for everyone, but as a person with a background in hospitality, it was solid!

Can we get a prequel with Armond? lol he was fantastic.

Just finished this. Overall pretty good. Most of the characters were great. Except Stifler's mom. What a bore that character was. Every scene with her was like the final dialogue in Loki and almost put me to sleep.

Oh I’m sorry to hear that. She’s a great actress. I believe she’s like a genius or something.

She’s very believable.

And she is also the star of season 2 of The White Lotus. Taking place at another White Lotus resort somewhere else

Well the character and her storyline are just awful. If she’s the star I might sit out for season 2
