Though kind of goofy that Variety straight up calls Robert Rodriguez "Richard Rodriguez" here...

Whenever I watched a film he was in, I always wondered what happened to him. He essentially quit in his early 40s and some speculate that he was just tired of the business having started acting when he was 10 or 11. But I don't think he ever announced his retirement or gave any interviews about it.

I always thought he had what it took to be a star but sometimes it just doesn't work out that way. RIP, August Walker.

RIP. He was a very versatile actor which not a lot of people give him credit for.

This was sad news, Nicky was a very good supporting actor and excellent in Boiler Room and Way of The Gun.

Last movie I saw him in was the Warner Bros NY thriller starring Jodie Foster - The Brave One. And that was from back in 2007 - looks like he quietly retired from the business.

RIP Nicky - I hope you’re at peace.
