Loved the movie so much, had so much fun with it. This was an instant preorder when I got out of the theater, can't wait!

They couldn't have picked a more annoying individual than Jack Black - sucks he's the main character. I can't stand the guy.

While I do actually like Jason Mamoa, I think he looks like a goofball with a mullet and a pink leather jacket.

No doubt this will be a billion-dollar movie, and has the potential to reach 2 billion and be one of the biggest movies in history.

I wasn't going to pick this up, but I'll check it out this week with my son first to see if it's worth buying. Hes 20 & grew up playing it so it should at least have some nostalgia.

Wouldn't be surprised if this film made over 1 billion in the box office, those minecraft fans are insane, making a mess of the theaters.

Now they're gonna make a sequel, and if that one is a success they'll make another and so on

Thought I was the only one. While I'll watch and buy this, that's one actor I can't stand.

There's the minimalist design of the Super Mario Bros. Movie and then there's this.

I'd like to think there's a way the designers could find a middle ground.

Do y’all feel the same way about Chris Farley? I went back and watched Tommy Buy before buying it (streamed it), and I had forgotten how much I’m annoyed with him. Didn’t bother buying Tommy Boy when it came out.

Probably the reverse: I like Chris Farley, and while I like black's early stuff, he just seemed to become stagnant at some point and always play the same character.

It's like the old "Nicolas Cage's Agent" skit, but with jb.

I'd suggest watching him riff on old SNL, especially the skit with Patrick Swayze. Might change your mind, or not. Different tastes and all that.
