Can't say as it depends on the viewing distance. Typically I prefer sitting closer to a smaller screen though if it means the image quality is better. Basically I will sit at thx recommended viewing distances which will change based on screen size and thus the screen will be the same relative size.

I have a 102" screen and it rarely gets used in favor of my 65" due to the difference in pq.

I sit about 7ft away from my 100" and it is very immersive. Watching 3D flicks on my 60" just doesn't cut it after that.

65" is the THX recommended viewing distance at 7ft. Films aren't meant to be viewed as you are. However all that matters is that you like it.

I'm in the 100" club. It's the minimum for 3D.

Yeah... no it's not.

[edit: to clarify talking screen size without viewing distance is silly. A 60" screen can appear be larger relatively then a 100" screen etc. It's both viewing distance, screen size, and ones preference. Some like i larger then what films are made more or less around (Thx, smpte standards) which is fine, but to suggest that isn't large enough is silly].

I have a 55 inch after my 42 inch passive and I think it's fantastic I couldn't imagine going any smaller than this.
Ps. Please spell check the threads title it really annoys me...

I use a 9' wide scope screen which is the equivalent of watching scope movies on a 126" diag 1.78 screen and wish I could go even bigger! 50-60" is WAY too small in my opinion, but I know some have restrictions for one reason or another. I have a family member with a 65" Panny 3d set and 3d is a decent novelty but it's a whole different experience on a large projection screen! Point of all this being, go as big as you can within reason and in relation to your viewing space. If you have it down to a 50 or 60" display though, by all means go with the 60.

I hated the 3D on my 46" Samsung when I had it. Love it now.

Actually gauging from your response along with the original title (typo still there!, Im guessing you actually don't know where it is...), sixth grade would be generous and your insults are in the infants range.

Seriously "dog breath"??

Really?

Thats way hurtful..

Clearly you are not a pet owner (thankfully for them) as you would know getting kisses from your best puppy is one of life's pleasures, and I have never ONCE noticed his "dog breath"...

Just try harder eh? You just gave me a good laugh tonight!

Actually I purposely mispelled as a little experiment into the human condition of adapting to situations where an action can be taken versus an imperfect stimuli. As you were only one to reply to error with such a degree of vigor I am the one who has been treated to a humorous conclusion to my little study lol. The conclusion being that small bait still catches big rat.

Neither do you.

You don't contribute anything worth a damn, all you do is be a rude individual, regularly posting comments like the one I've quoted below (which you posted a few posts above):

From my observation you just seem like another one of those members with serious social issues.
