Another long-wanted title crossed off the 4K UHD wish list.

I watched it twice in theaters, and regarded it as the finest film of 2003 (still do). Bought the DVD as soon as it came out but never played it, perhaps wary of it losing its big screen power on my then-smallish TV set. Times have changed and so has the equipment, though, so it's high time to revisit Weir's last gems (with all due respect to fans of The Way Back).

Excited for this. But given all the sound issues and of course the video difficulties with this one, I am definitely not preordering when the time comes.

4K scans are already done. They just don't want to put them out.

Exactly. After what's gone on for the last 8 YEARS, we'll take any and all Fox titles on 4k uhd however, whenever and wherever we can get 'em!!!!!!
