Disk Kino is going to release the classic 1981 film based on Lu Xun's famous novel, THE TRUE STORY AH Q, on May 28th. Apart from the commonly seen short international version, this two-disc edition will also include the long-unavailable true original theatrical version of the film.

2K restoration from original camera negatives by Shanghai Film Studio, additional restoration works done by Disk Kino
Includes both original Mandarin mono track and the Cantonese dubbed track made for the Hong Kong release
