Default Stargate SG-1 , Sci-Fi Channel , MGM Studios

I've been a huge fan of the Stargate SG-1 series and Atlantis. But, SG-1 is the best series ever given on the Sci-Fi channel hands down.

Now that the format war is over and Blu-Ray is clearly the victor... Is it reasonable to assume that the Stargate SG-1 series will be released on Blu-Ray Disc? I'd be first in line for that. MGM ... please make this a reality

Please use the search function, it's been discussed endlessly

It is not reasonable that SG-1 will be released on Blu any time soon because of how much material there is for people to rebuy (which cuts your sales way down to begin with), the fact the first 2 seasons are 16mm, and that at least half the series would have to be completely retransferred and edited. It is reasonable to believe that Ark of Truth and the other moive have a chance
