I use an ASUS BW-16D1X-U Blu-ray drive on my Mac running OS Sequoia for reading Blu-rays. For ripping, I utilize EaseFab Blu-ray Ripper.
A recurring issue, particularly with Warner Archive discs, is the extended time it takes for the ASUS drive to recognize them. Furthermore, after the disc is recognized by EaseFab Blu-ray Ripper and I attempt to convert a file, I consistently receive an "The output directory is not available, please select another one” error. I am uncertain whether the problem lies with the ASUS Blu-ray drive or EaseFab Blu-ray Ripper. Has anyone else experienced similar difficulties and found a resolution? My primary goal is to extract clips from Blu-ray discs, and I would prefer to find a solution rather than replace the drive. Thanks! |
