Too bad it's not 4k but preordered anyways.

Has there ever been a Steelbook that used a BD-R? Otherwise I assume this one will be pressed this time. Not really enough to justify a double-dip though.

Not as far as I am aware of, but Cinedigm now Cineverse likes to put titles on SteelBooks even if they don't own them; Jeepers Creepers 4. This will most likely be a pressed disc but wont have a J-Card.

I suggest a rent-before-you-buy approach with this one. I walked out an hour into the film, and I never do that.

It was absolutely abysmal. Horrible acting, and wretched CGI blood splatters over having practical effects. The Mean One makeup itself wasn't bad though.

Gotta be honest, I completely forgot about the existence of this movie. Ultimately was the bigger jumpscare to me to see PRE-ORDER here on the site for Amazon.

Never seen it. Not entirely sure if I'm willing to blind buy this one like I did for the first Blood and Honey. Probably something worth enjoying because it'd be so bad.

This film rocks. Already have the blu but since I plan on watching it in every month of December until I die I might as well grab the Steele.

One of the worst movies I've ever seen. Shocked it's getting a steel. More shocked that people actually liked this, lol.

I didn't even know this existed.

I take it it's another "just entered public domain live action horror?"

And based on the reactions here it will either be entertaining or wildly offensive?

Kind of. It's more of an unauthorized parody, not actually having the rights to words like "Grinch" or "Whoville". The book came out in the 50s, and the movie came out in 2000.

Here's an article on how the film's director avoided copyright infringement to make it

Down to $20.99 at Amazon

Here's the front, back and inside of the SB. Looks like it has a few extras that weren't on the previous release, including a commentary with the director, and a Making of featurette.

My copy arrived today. It is a pressed disc, not a BD-R.

I like film credits on a SteelBook (like Warner does often) but disc spec sheet? I thought the industry moved past that! Put it on a j-card already.
