As mentioned in the Hammer blu-ray thread, I'm wondering what this means for a potential release from Hammer themselves, as part of their deluxe collector's range? I'd rather support them than the scalpers at Imprint!

The specs say this is a restoration by Imprint, which leads me to believe Hammer aren’t doing it themselves, since they’re restoring everything they release in house.

Yeah, but I wonder if Hammer would do their own in addition to this? I'm not sure who owns the rights (I know Hammer have to re-acquire/re-license some of their own films from other labels).

The back of the Synapse edition says licensed from ITV Group as does the Network Edition so I am guessing ITV owns the rights.

This is correct.

I just hoping we get a standard edition, or something a bit cheaper from another label somewhere.

I'm not doing this £50-£60 for a single movie game all of the time. Just no, as much as I adore the movies.

That's just the name.

I've got the Peter Cushing scrapbook. It's not a literal scrapbook, but a lovely colour-printed coffee-table format that is "scrapbook" in terms of it just having lots of related ephemera related to the subject without needing a written narrative to hold it all together.
