I got the existing Paramount Blu from another member for a reasonable $25 maybe a year ago, but glad this'll be back in print for those who missed out. Underrated movie.

Great news! Hopefully, there will be a director’s commentary included with this release, as there was some intense and interesting behind the scenes turmoil involved in the production of this film.

It's not. I actually found it compelling and atmospheric. There are a few lapses in logic and some silly parts, but that's par for the course for this type of thing. You could definitely do a lot worse when it comes to 90s thrillers.

It's probably 2.5/5 or so. It's been a few years since I've seen the movie, but it's kind of just not as interesting as it should be. Thurman does ok, but nothing sticks as being as interesting as expected despite the effort of the actors.

This movie is awesome. I don't get the hate. At all.

Underrated and highly atmospheric. Everyone is great in this.
The score is haunting. The direction is sharp.

And the end is brilliant.

This was never really much of a scalped release. There were not all that many copies floating around.

Not on Blu-ray, unless the database, Amazon, and other retailers are missing all of the (which I doubt). There is only one entry for the US, distributed by WB, one for Canada, and one for France (from Paramount). The US release is only in 196 collections, and the French one only in 6, so not many people own it.

Copies on ebay have sold as high as $60 recently.

I always thought of this as a great-looking bad movie. It was intended for Al Pacino but he turned it down. It's funny that Andy Garcia's character (multiple times) is referred to as "old", when he was only 36.

Many titles were because of the going back and forth between Warner and Paramount, but this one only had one release back in 2013. It has been OOP for a very long time.

Paramount just rereleased Snake Eyes but i can see Shout doing Fire in the Sky, Jade, Bless the Child, Domestic Disturbance, Abandon, Twisted (2004) and Suspect Zero for thrillers.

Not all of us have time to compile a collection list on this website.

So the numbers aren't much to go off of.

I was lucky enough to find this sealed at a thrift shop a few years ago. I watched it last year during lockdown and, while I agree it is flawed, it was very suspenseful and atmospheric. The ending was kind of a mess but my understanding is it was changed?
