One of my most wanted BD's, also baffles me as why the sequel has been available for a few years now but no original, love both movies..

I think the same thing frequently, especially whenever I'm scrolling through the weekly ads and uber-bargain bin stuff at Fry's and the (crappy) sequel is always sitting there for around $2...

It's either it needs a new remaster and Disney is being lazy or Mill Creek didn't justify it price wise to license it out. I am going to go with the first option because Disney left those Miramax titles to go to pure crap with not doing anything with them.

I would buy this in a heartbeat, especially if it had a retrospective with Dreyfuss, Estevez, Stowe, and director John Badham. Shout Factory needs to get their hands on this one, ASAP.

Studios like Scream Factory did special editions of crap like The Garbage Pail Kids Movie...with a lot of features...hell, Double Dragon is getting a full length documentary from MVD on their Blu-Ray. Double Dragon!
