They better hurry, before Michael Keaton really does board the train to the afterlife.

If they couldn’t get Keaton, the third movie would just focus on Beetlejuice’s son that nobody knew about, or something like that

Thought Catherine O'Hara was one of the FEW bright spots of the 2nd one and they wrote her out. Maybe if they go into this one with about 30 less plot lines, it'll be ok?

She could easily come back as a ghost. (There are no rules to this.)

If it happens, I'm there. I loved Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.

Will he go Hawaiian in this one?

I thought Beetlejuice Beetlejuice was more fun than the original, and I love the original. A great return to form by Burton.

Hopefully Dafoe and Bellucci get a little more to do.

Justin Theroux was my favorite of the new cast members, but it wouldn't make sense to bring him back.

This will depend on Tim Burton not breaking up with her before shooting.

Hopefully they'll pick a narrative and stick with it instead of the multple half ass subplots... and drop the wedding shit already.

Surely this was always going to happen. Calling the sequel ‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’ wouldn’t make sense without having a third film.

I've been having a rough week, so seeing this news is making me feel a bit better. I had so much fun watching Beetlejuice Beetlejuice in the theater that I will be back in my seat for this one!

I thought Lord Zaslav was sacking Abdi and De Luca due to a lot of stinkers at the box office lately.

I mean you gotta do a 3rd so you can call it Beetlejuice Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.

I too loved Beetlejuice Beetlejuice

Justin Theroux’s character could be a ghost now and return alongside Bellucci because when know ghosts aren’t gone forever after being eaten by a Sandworm. (Unless Betelgeuse is just different which he seems to be in every other regard.)

The second movie also makes reference to Lydia’s biological mother still being alive. Perfect opportunity for a third movie to further explore her bloodline and possibly where she gets her psychic abilities outside of being strange and unusual.

Maybe we’ll also get an explanation as to how Beetlejuice was able to get his head to grow back to its original size after getting shrunk at the end of the first movie

Or why his name is spelled wrong

I think the misspelling was just a promotional gag for the first film's poster, and tied into the charades scene near the end. He knows anyone who says it three times in a row hampers his power, so in the first one he initially won't even say it once to Lydia. Keaton's dialogue about "shopping centers and autographs" is still hilarious beyond reason, though.
