We should boycott Paramount titles until they agree to donate the $150 million to some worthwhile charity.

Paramount Home Entertainment quietly came onboard via a statement sent exclusively to The Hollywood Reporter on Wednesday: "We are pleased that the industry is moving to a single high-definition format, as we believe it is in the best interest of the consumer," the statement reads. "As we look to (begin) releasing our titles on Blu-ray, we will monitor consumer adoption and determine our release plans accordingly."
Funny that "Begin" is in parentheses... I'd substitute "resume" in there.

Does that by default mean Dreamworks as well or would they have to provide their own announcement?

Anyway, great news!

It's weird that they would make a statement like that. They will watch consumer adoption and tailor their releases accordingly? They are acting like consumer adoption was higher for HD DVD than Blu-ray (cause they already announced an HD DVD title for release in April, I believe).

That somewhat gets under my skin. Am I overreacting to this?
