Default Transformers One (2024)

Ant-Man writers Andrew Barrer and Gabriel Ferrari have joined Paramount’s Transformers brain trust, possibly to work on a Cybertron origin film.

According to this report, one of the concepts in the offing has a working title of Transformers One and is “more or less” an origin story set on the Transformers homeworld of Cybertron. There is a possibility that this could be an animated film rather than live-action, but Barrer and Ferrari “are also going to the writer’s room with the expectation they’ll write a live action Transformers movie, as well.”

Paramount and series director Michael Bay want a sequel ready to go before cameras by the time Bay finishes his film 13 Hours. Other Transformers films are intended to follow closely after that, apparently in the vein of the Marvel and Star Wars films.
