Njuta Films just updated their section of upcoming Blu-ray releases for this year. Some great titles on the way including The City of Lost Children, Jacob's Ladder, Delicatessen, Rosetta, Breathless and Godard Mon Amour. Also releases of Mulholland Drive, Shaun of the Dead and Mr. Nobody even though they have been on Blu-ray before.

And then we have the titles from Studio-S that have been known for a while now. Titles include Black Moon Rising, The Philadelphia Experiment, Creepshow 2, Children of the Corn Trilogy, The Stuff, Matinee, Vamp, Mayhem, China Blue, Heathers, Wanted: Dead or Alive, Akira Kurosawa Masterpiece Collection 2, Audition, Besökarna and Mannen Från Mallorca.

Overall a very strong line-up of catalog titles. It's great to see their continuing commitment to physical media.

According to the back cover it’s only Swedish subtitles.

Mulholland Drive (Njuta Film)
Is there any information if they have used a different master than the 2001 release from Pan Vison, that suffered from sound problem:

**NOTE**: It has just come to my attention this disc also suffers from the now common Studio Canal "Pitch glitch" problem.
In simplest lay terms possible, their datacines, although transferred at film speed of 24 fps were taken from a 25 fps PAL master, consequently the audio has had to undergo a "retread" which gives it the same near semi-tone pitch rise as SD PAL 25fps transfers.

I have been thinking of to buy Strul for years.
Nice to see that a new restored version is on its way. Now is the time to buy I guess.

Seems like Strul, Göta Kanal and Morrhår & ärtor will be relesed 27/11.

The Martin Beck-films are in 4K on Itunes. Too bad they aren't released on 4K Blu-ray.

It's too bad they don't seem to have English subtitles, either. I would love to buy the set. Maybe they will get a UK release.

Yeah, these are the only Scandinavian 4K releases I know about:


(There are Scandi films in 4K from countries like Germany, US and UK, though.)

All three movies that will be released the 27/11 will have English subtitles.
The other movies have no info about subtitles yet when I look at Studio S website. When we get closer to release they maybe will have that on them too. Fingers crossed.

According to the Studio S website, the Martin Beck box will be released 11 december. It will have Swedish and English subtitles.

English dub as well, apparently. Some of the titles will also have dubs in Danish and German.

I had to double check their website but, yes, they do indeed state Danish dubs for a couple of the Beck films. That's a first one for me.

Yes I saw that some would have dubs. Personly I would not see that work, but thats just me. I not much for dubs at all, unless it is like Disney or something.
