Movies that have music videos on the discs, why don't they have the music video in lossless? Plus why aren't the songs 96kHz, 24bits, Blu-rays can produce that level of audio fidelity.

i assume that music videos were not done in lossless or hi res

You can still encode anything in lossless. I have the movie “Wacko” from Vinegar Syndrome, audio is a bad mono optical track but they encoded that in 96khz DTS-HD MA instead of the usual 48!
