I'm surprised they didn't do standard for the individuals and then do a 3 part steelbook set or something instead of just steels and no standard for the individuals.

I think it's because at this point, these are mostly aimed at collectors who care more about the steelbook collectability versus the films, so they won't just "wait it out".

I mean, this whole release is kind of crazy to begin with - the prices they are asking for these discs is just astronomical when you figure it's not really "sequels" and you need all 3 to tell the story.

They basically are just selling individuals to milk the collectors. Personally, I stopped buying these awhile ago, since they all go to HBO Max so quickly anyway. Part 1 is already there (and was pretty good - but if I had paid for a full price disc for it, I would have been much less impressed LOL).

I wonder when a compilation set will be announced, that's what I want to get. Or something edited into 1 movie like The Long Halloween.

I do like individual releases, but I hate steelbooks. So, I just didn't get them at all lol

It's weird. I pre-ordered the steelbook for part 2 off of Target, and now their website not longer has it listed and my order is backordered until the end of this month... I wonder if the new DC owners are trying to phase out physical media, cuz part 1 wasn't this expensive or this hard to get, and now I'm worried about how hard part 3 is gonna be to get.
