Anyone have any info on this release?
A cool 80's creature feature.
It was suppossed to be out this summer from Dark Force Entertainment.

Is this already totally out of print? Both links above are dead and the only listing on blu-ray is a 3rd party seller for over $60. This just came out a few months ago and you already can't get it. I wouldn't even call this "released".

Well, I guess I lucked out. I've made one dark force order ever (sometime last year) and have it. I guess I should watch it and then see if I want to resell. I always wanted to see it as a kid just cause it had "giant bug" in the description, but I sure haven't heard anyone talk about it since then except for my seeing it on their site randomly one day and ordering it.

Kino announced a new upcoming Blu of Blue Monkey from them (via Code Red), and it will have a different slipcover, a Blue Monkey one, which I would prefer anyway as I have NEVER known this film as INSECT. Can't remember when Kino has it scheduled for...

Per KL's site, the announced release date is 12/14/21.

I have the Code Red release. Does anybody know if there is any difference between that and the Kino release? Any differences with the image or audio tracks?

Or am I mistaken and it's the same release? Mine has a Blue Monkey slipcover and it says Code Red, but no mention of Kino.

^ I don't have the Kino, but I was under the assumption they are the exact same disc. Just different distribution.

^ Perfect price, this movie isn't very deep even by 80s low-budget standards and takes a long time to get to the good stuff.
