Oh my goodness I love this film and have been hoping for a better release. It only got a DVD release in the States years ago. I'm stoked, and from Curzon!

There has still been no justice in Gwyneth Paltrow's theft of Fernanda Montenegro's Oscar.

I always thought this film should have been a Criterion title.It's a wonderful film with a great cast and one of the best looking films to come out that year.I do hope someone gives it a U.S. release some day.If not I'll will be picking up the 4k down the road.

Lovely film.

Not sure about that price tag, though.

Rarewaves have it for £24.99 so with their oft 10% off that's doable for me.

I only own one Curzon title but have had them in my consciousness because of their exquisite releases. This is not one of those, do they typically reissue Collector's Editions of "standard" editions down the road?

It's up on BrotherBelial for $34.99, all the other places like Atomic and OrbitDVD are $8 to $12 higher, so it could be a price error on BrotherBelial's part. Get it now in case they decide to correct the pricing.

Is there any information whether or Curzon will be doing a DV/HDR transfer on this? I see that it's with Sony Pictures Classics and there's a chance Sony might do a DV/HDR MOD release in the future in the US for a better price and just as good of an encode maybe?
