saw this posted on another forum, it looks pretty solid!
The front and back art should have been swapped but no biggie still awesome, I'll be waiting for GRUV to pick this up!

Day 1!

My only gripe with the steelbook is that the back artwork should have been the front and vice versa, with the asterisk remaining on the front.

I don't know what they were thinking making that the front artwork.

Doubt Gruv is going to carry this. The only Sony steelbook I recall them having was Madam Web and that was briefly.

I love it. Day one for me. Though I guess I mean pre-order since there is nowhere to buy new steelbooks day one in my area.

I'm certainly getting this when pre-orders up.I hope it goes up at Amazon first since I rather get it there.

I am curious about the price. The Deadpool & Wolverine steelbooks were more expensive and were sold out fast in pre-orders. Captain America: Brave New World was more reasonable and were much easier to get.

Thunderbolts i think overall was a more successful film critically then Brave New World but from what I've read, financially a disappointment.

Gruv won't have this as it's a Disney movie.

I only mentioned Sony because they distribute Disney's physical releases. But yes this won't be sold through Gruv.

Finally, I've been waiting for this to pop up.

I didn't see it in the theaters, but people actually seemed to enjoy this movie overall compared to the last handful of MCU movies.

I stopped collecting at Black Panther 2 and regret even getting that as I'll probably never watch it again.

The MCU has just moved so far away from what I enjoyed about it.

I don't care how much money they made off of Endgame, that was a terrible decision to kill off a main characters like Iron Man & Natasha and retire another main character like Captain America. I think these were probably the 3 most beloved characters in the MCU.

I even started back at Iron Man last week and burning through them again because they are so good.

I did get Deadpool & Wolverine, but that doesn't count lol

But this one seems to be worthy of at least watching & adding to the collection.

The bad guys power seem pretty cool and interesting at the least. Honestly that's really the only thing that even piqued my interest in this movie. I really don't even like any of these characters at all. Bucky is cool just because he's been around so long, and I do love Florence Pugh in general (love ScarJo way more though) and she's really the only character I'm looking forward to seeing in this movie.

To me these are NOT "The new Avengers". Thunderbolts is/was a better title for them and always how I will see them.

I know Avengers was always a group that changed members, that doesn't mean I have to like it.

This is not marvel's year.

I was hoping for more after brave new world, and thunderb...I mean the new aveng...sorry, I can't bring myself to say it...didn't hit the sopt.

Back of this should have been the front, for sure.

I know this follows their pattern of announcing steels late, but this is so late, any kind of enthusiasm the movie had is long gone and people are already looking forward to the third go of the Fantastic Four and the three way office battle with Superman and Jurassic Park can't stop, won't stop.

This is the typical timeframe it takes for a disney steels to be announced.

Also the only way the front would be alright is if they removed the 'New Avengers' part.

Which I already noted, but doesn't make it any less of a dumb move on their part, especially in this case.

"The new aven..." (I still can't say it) was big the second week and on marketing push for this, to tie in with the finale reveal and why the * they had on everything related to the movie since the first teaser dropped.

I know that. But the name works better on the back.

100%

Thunderbolts was great, but Taskmaster really got the short end of the stick.

I never said that. They could have used the back image on the front without the giant asterix
