I'm going to see Soundgarden tomorrow. Me and my friend are going but now he can't go because he doesn't have the money. I have one spare Soundgarden ticket now and I don't know what to do with it

Unless you need the money back as soon as possible for the ticket why not ask him to pay it back another time,either bit by bit or one lump sum or even as a Xmas or birthday gift.
In fairness if he only told you today that he can't go to a concert within a few days of the concert actually happening he can't be much of a friend.

no offense to this thread, I actually think this is a good idea, but I really hope this thread doesn't turn into a bunch of first world problems complaints.

Really? I'm happy because Fall is here. It's my favorite season. Although I don't have school to put up with anymore.

Why fall? Halloween, holiday seasons, my favorite weather -- I hate excessive heat and excessive cold.

Precisely why I'm sad summer is over. We don't get Fall here in NY. It goes from one extreme to the other. I expect to be using my winter jacket when October begins.

I guess I should be happy in a way. Less rain when winter begins. I like summer and all, but geez, it's just too much rain.

I've been sad because for a time while my wife went back to school full time we had to move back in with my parents.... is this a first world problem? Maybe... Oh well. Anyway she just wrapped up her degree, we have been in here four years now. We really need out, but it still hinges on her finding work again. Lemme tell ya... it sucks.

Then I have an old classmate who lives near Drake Colorodo who's family was recently evacuated by Chinook helicopter from the flooding there and was told he may not see his home again till next summer... Woof! My heart broke when he posted pics with his kids in front of the Chinook. You could see they were excited by the big helicopter but really concerned as well. Put's things in perspective.
