All I want to know is whether we'll finally get The Dream Child the way it was intended. As much as I'd like to see a true 3d edition of Freddy's Dead and other tidbits added back into the other films... If Part 5 arrives fully uncut, It'll be pretty hard for me to find fault with the release. Just please, please, please allocate each film to it's own disc.

Am I the only one that thinks that looks fake AF? Like, what's the source on this image? Look at the area right below Corpse Bride, it looks like it's poorly covering up some other text, and that area looks to be a darker tone than the area above.

Why do people keep asking for this? It's NEVER and I repeat, NEVER going to happen. The footage is in disastrous shape, and the idea that Warner is going to spend the money to restore it and recut it into the film is preposterous

Edit: This is the worst take in the long history of bad takes.

I guess we’ll know of its validity if Philly Story gets announced on 4k for next month. Or is that just noting anniversaries without promising a 4k?

Edit: Philadelphia Story was released on Jan 17, 1941. So I guess that doesn’t mean there’s a 4k coming on that date.

That, as well as the general believability of Warner planning out specific release dates ten months in advance when they can hardly do so on a three month notice, as is the case with e.g. Amadeus which was by all accounts supposed to release this year and still doesn't have a specific date beyond the one on this 'leaked' PowerPoint... I'm taking this with a heavy grain of salt.

The way I interpert this chart is the top are 4K releases in the planning stages for Q3 and Q4. However, the bottom where its says Anniversaries are just when Warner plans to celebrate those milestones with promotions and repackagings. Not necessarily new 4K releases especially since a few of these already have 4K discs.

A Nightmare Collection also makes sense since Warner did this with Blu-ray so we end up with a redundant copy of the first film. The surviving directors have also returned to Warner’s lot to oversee new masters at Warner’s Archives.

Hopefully great/original audio tracks if this does get released. The music's a big part of the atmosphere in these films.
