Looks like it’s limited to 4000 copies.

This is Plaion shop exclusive in Germany. If someone wants to pay the price, until August 31 you get 5 EUR off 35 EUR with code: MAGNUM5

Is anyone familiar with this site? And will the box and titles on the covers be in German or English? Any rating stickers and if so can they be removed? I mean, if anyone has experience with these kind of releases.

The same with ordering the one from Amazon.fr, will it have the French title/text on the boxes?

Plaion Pictures, formerly Koch Media, is an Austrian label that produces and distributes films since some thirty years. Their shop is reliable and packages very well. This is still a Warner release though and Plaion distributes it.

Rating stickers shouldn't be on the product itself. Since it seems that this is a world release / world discs, it'll probably be same product as in English speaking countries. If there's a booklet this'll may be translated. But box and Steelbooks should be identical. (But, I'm guessing here, who knows with this labels today, so please don't rely/hold me responsible. The product is too expensive.)

They ship to:

Zone 1: Germany, Austria
Zone 2: Netherlands, Poland, Czech Republic
Zone 3: Belgium, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg
Zone 4: Denmark, France, Sweden, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary
Zone 5: Switzerland
Zone 6: Estonia, Finland, Greece, Ireland, Croatia, Lithuania, Portugal, Spain

Small correction to https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/A-Nig...lu-ray/393420/

It says its a "Fourteen-disc set", while in truth it is a "Eleven-disc set":
7 4K UHD Blu-Rays and 4 Blu-Rays.
The Blu-Rays included are the same as the ones in https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/A-Nig...Blu-ray/57222/, so 2 movies on one Disc except "Nightmare 1" which has its own disc.

You can buy the Plaion Steelbook-Set via https://shop.plaionpictures.com/a-ni...rays-shop-exkl. for 199,99 Euros which translates to 229 USD.
The Plaion Steelbook-Set is a "Store Exclusive", so their own shop is the only place to officially get this set.

Since this here is my first posting, I am still lacking the posting power to edit the entry myself.
Thank you.

I'm confused, what makes this a Plaion exclusive...what's different about it?

It is exclusive to that market via their online store. Plaion is the sole distributor for this set in Germany, if not the entire German-speaking market. It isn't like it will have anything out of the ordinary to the set being distributed directly by Warner in other territories.

News:
According to a user (see Link below) he asked Plaion about the limited copies of the Steelbook set. To be precise, he asked if those 4000 copies are the limitation for the german market or worldwide.

Here is the answer Plaion sent him via Email:
"vielen Dank für deine Nachricht. Dabei handelt es sich um die weltweite Limitierung. In unserem Shop liegt die Limitierung bei 1000 Stück."

Translation:
"Thank you for your message. This is a global limitation. In our shop, the limitation is 1,000 items."

So 4000 copies globally oO

Hmm, my comment got deleted...

Can't be bothered to type it all again with every proof I linked in the first posting, so here is just the short version:
The limitation of 4000 copies is globally. Plaion will only sell 1000 copies via their shop.

Your comment is still there, two posts above.

It was already said that it's 4000 worldwide and that it's a Plaion shop exclusive. I added it now to the start post for better visibility. Thanks!

Yes.

Here is a link with further information: https://presse.wbd-deutschland.de/po...e-warner-bros-

Quick and dirty Translation via DeepL:
"Distribution of physical home entertainment products: Warner Bros. Discovery and PLAION PICTURES sign new agreement

Warner Bros. Discovery, a leading global entertainment company with the world's most diverse media and streaming portfolio, and PLAION PICTURES, a leading independent film distributor, have entered into a new agreement for the distribution of all physical home entertainment products such as Blu-rays and DVDs. The new agreement covers the markets of Germany, Austria and German-speaking Switzerland.

This marks a further expansion of the companies' collaboration. PLAION already successfully distributes titles from WBD's back catalogue and games from Warner Bros. Games in German-speaking countries.

The launch of the expanded collaboration is planned for the fourth quarter of 2025. From that point on, a wide range of premium home entertainment franchises will be available through PLAION PICTURES, including the DC Extended Universe with superheroes such as SUPERMAN, BATMAN and WONDER WOMAN, the magical Wizarding World of HARRY POTTER, the LORD OF THE RINGS and THE HOBBIT film series, THE MATRIX, DUNE and LOONEY TUNES. In addition, outstanding and award-winning HBO Original Series such as GAME OF THRONES, HOUSE OF THE DRAGON, THE LAST OF US and EUPHORIA.

‘To be successful in the physical home entertainment product sector, high-quality content is just as essential as a far-reaching and well-established distribution structure. We are delighted to be expanding our long-standing partnership and to be able to offer the latest titles, eagerly awaited by fans, exclusively through PLAION PICTURES in future,’ said Matthias Heinze, SVP Commercial & Managing Director at Warner Bros. Discovery Germany.

Jochen Walter, Managing Director of PLAION PICTURES: "This agreement is a real milestone for us. With outstanding new releases and the industry's highest-grossing catalogue – packed with blockbusters and series highlights – exceptional content meets our many years of expertise and our great passion for home entertainment. We would like to thank the team at Warner Bros. Discovery for their trust and special partnership – and we are very much looking forward to what lies ahead. It's going to be great cinema – also on DVD and Blu-ray.""

Plaion will distribute Warner Home Video and Universal Pictures Home Entertainment.

Constantin will be distributed via Leonine: https://bluray-disc.de/blu-ray-news/...onstantin_film

So far, no news about Paramount that I am aware of

Currently not available on their site. Does that mean that's it or will it be available again at some point?

Plaion distributes Paramount only for Italy at the moment.

With Plaions own releases I would’ve guessed it’s back in stock near to release. But with this title I think it’s gone for good now.
