So how is the picture quality on this? There's been a ton of discussion in the VS thread about it since they weren't able to obtain the original elements. The screencaps they posted aren't great, but maybe it looks better in motion?

It looks pretty much like what you would expect a 35+ year old tape master to look like. Without the surviving films elements to scan, it's only ever gonna look so good.

Thanks for underselling the film even as you were promoting it. I went into it thinking it was going to be terrible and was surprised at how fun it was; if anyone likes slashers I can't imagine they wouldn't enjoy this. And it gets extra points for that ridiculous ending

Exactly that mate. If you enjoy 80s slashers, you should have a good time. Those 80s slashers had a charm all of their own.
