Might get this as I am canceling Dis+ in a couple of weeks.

I started the movie a few months ago and liked it okay, but didn’t love it. I didn’t even finish it! Nice looking steel though.

Day 1! I've wanted this one on 4K for a while now.

I love Tron: Legacy and that score by Daft Punk is totally killer.

Having said that, I really hate this bad habit Disney has as of late where they announce a new release totally last minute.

This was announced just 2 weeks before release day.

Come on, Disney! Give us a little more of a heads-up next time. What happened to announcing releases at least a month ahead? It helps us folks plan out our purchases ahead of time.

Wait it out, I always do
I never worry about these steelbooks selling out. Disney will keep making them as long as they sell.
Deadpool and Wolverine come to mind. People actually thought they would sell out, but I got both editions for the price most paid for just one
Same with Inside and Inside 2, I picked them up for less than half their original prices.

Or, if you want it sooner, just wait for the Target B2G1 sale
Or if Gruv has it, you can use the 20% off sign up method

I only remember liking the Rinzler scene, and the soundtrack, obviously. The rest was pretty disappointing. The cgi on the de-aged Jeff Bridges looked well done, but as soon as he started talking, the mouth movement was not ready at that time, only Avatar got that right. I was told that they were redoing Clu for the 4k remaster with new de-aging technology, so that may be worth checking out.

You must be looking at the wrong places then.
So deadpool and wolverine steelbooks cost more now, or the Alien romulus steelbook, or Inside 2, or the Wonka steelbooks (all variants)
I got them all for less then half of what people paid for

And I'm going to say you're full of crap. When it first dropped around $45 or so, Inside Out 2's 4K steelbook sold out faster than you can say ennui. From then on it was $50-60 or higher. The only way to get one at a reasonable price was to import the UK steelbook. That showed us the new world we're living in when it comes to Disney 4K releases, with the strange exception of MCU flicks.

No possible way you legitimately got those at half of what people paid for them unless you have some special access that the rest of us aren't lucky enough to have.

Also got it from Amazon.de, I know other countries exist besides the USA and UK (shocking I know) in fact the price now is 19 euros click the LINK.

if you sign up to a German website and some French websites such as myself, you get notified whenever you see ridiculously lower prices than what they went for.

Also I posted it on the WONKA 4k steelbook release, I goth both variants for 25 euros at the time, see again I got the notification there was a sale so I got both for that 25 euros TOTAL
