Default Name film directors that delivered three legitimately great films?

Rules: You can pick as many Directors as you like, but you can only choose 3 films from them.

I'll go first..

John McTiernan
Predator
Die Hard
The Hunt for Red October

Ridley Scott
Alien
Gladiator
The Martian

M. Night Shyamalan
Sixth Sense
Signs
Unbreakable

Coppola: The Conversation, Godfather 2, Apocalypse Now.

Throw in The Godfather in front of that as well even if I’ve found that film to be overrated (it’s a very good movie, but not an all time great in my mind).

Clint Eastwood had a terrific run between 2003 to 2006 with Mystic River, Million Dollar Baby and his Iwo Jima saga.

INCENDIES will always be his most powerful film. It will never be seen as such because people don't like subtitles..

What a true Shakesperian tragedy.. not an easy film to watch. I've just decided to give myself a gut punch and revisit it tonight.

My answer to the topic...Tarantino RESERVOIR DOGS, PULP FICTION, JACKIE BROWN..

Hayao Miyazaki (just pick any run of three of his films!)
E.g.
My Neighbour Totoro
Kiki’s Delivery Service
Porco Rosso

George Lucas
Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace
Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones
Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith

I realise some will disagree with those But if you’re a prequel-hater:

THX 1138
American Graffiti
Star Wars
