How is Mr Brooks In Blu-ray? - Blu-ray Forum

I have this On SDVD but I might buy it on blu.is it worth a double dip?

PQ is superb, I'd give it a solid 4/5. AQ was good, but I thought they overdid it with the gunshots throughout the movie. I had to turn the volume down because it scared the shiznit out of my wife.

Yeah the first gunshot of the movie was really jarring but hey...I actually liked it. That is what I want from Blu-ray to have scenes like that catch me offguard and make me jump.

I agree. I thought I was going to blow my speakers. I had the remote in my hand throughout the movie to lower the volume when somebody was going to be shot.

Glad I'm not the only one. That first gunshot was well placed though as it was just silent before then BANG! Nearly crapped my pants. Never saw it on sdvd but the bluray was great
