hahaha, ok

first of all, no one EVER talks about superman. this is the first time i have seen a thread with superman in the title in god knows how long.

second, supergirl would sell probably 1 copy...to you. terrible movie that is a disgrace. i'll never get that 75 cents for that rental on vhs back from my local vidoe store....

did it even come out on dvd? i really am curious. i havent heard of many movies that didnt, but i think this may be one

Yes it did come out on DVD. I remember when I was looking for Superman IV at Hastings a couple years ago they had Supergirl and I remember thinking something to the effect of "whoa, I totally forgot about that crappy movie"

Anchor Bay sent me a free copy of Supergirl on DVD a loooong time ago as a way of apologizing for a known bad disc in a different release (I forget which title was messed up). It was a nice gesture, but I couldn't even sit through the whole movie, haha!

Agreed. It is one of the worst movies ever made.

She lacked the rack. Just cause she is called Supergirl doesn't mean she should have the equipment of a 12 yar old.

I don't think Supergirl was a very good movie and I don't think it will sell very well on Blu-ray.

I know the movie was released on DVD because two of my friends bought it back in 2000.

Quote:
Released on video over the years by different companies, the film's first DVD release was on independent home video company Anchor Bay Entertainment in 2000 under license from StudioCanal. Warner Bros. recently acquired the rights to the film and reissued it on DVD late in 2006 to coincide with the reissues on DVD of the other Superman films.
If you really want this movie on DVD, you can buy it from Amazon.com for $12.99.

Anchor Bay issued the limited edition director's cut though! It HAS to be better

If you want it, mine is around here somewhere, limited to 40,000 copies

I want to thank you for posting this pic. I quoted you as a cheap excuse to get her pic on this page one more time. Lovely.

But honestly, I think Helen ain't bad at all. And whoever said she had the body of a 12-year-old ... wow, don't even want to know what 12-year-olds you're hanging around that look like this.
