Default 360 HD Drive...

Probably going to be killed for this but....

now that the price has dropped to 49.99, is it worth it so that I can watch HD exclusive movies, ie beowulf, transformers, etc...or should i just wait until they eventually come out on BD?

thoughts?

Your money, do what you want with it...but I feel that Transformers and Beowulf are about to be announced any day now from Paramount for Blu-ray.

But eventually and probably soon those movies will be made on blu. So is $50 plus the cost of the movies worth more than a better quality disc and your time waiting?

dont think so. but depending on when exactly they knew they would need to start producing blu again I believe it was anywhere between 3-6 months for the entire process unless they port it over from hd-dvd which I have a feeling will happen with a majority of them

one more question before i let this thread die...

i do not have the newer model xbox, with the hdmi support...

again, worth buying an HD drive using only the component cables?

49.99?
