Question Effects of upscaling?
I have looked all over but have yet to find anything relating to the effects upscaling a DVD has on a Blu-Ray DVD player! Should I go out and buy an $80 HD-DVD player and use it to only upscale?? Thinking about it... it would be nice to not have to play anything else in my Blu-Ray but Blu-Ray dics!

Anyone have a REAL answer for me?

Is there anyone that knows what effects playing an SD DVD in a Blu-ray or HD-DVD player will have on the player itself? Should I go out and get the $80 Toshiba HD-D3 to use when I want to watch an SD DVD so that I do not hurt my Blu-Ray player?

I know that Blu-ray players have a red laser as well but I am looking for long-term effects it might have overall!
