Pioneer Blu Ray at Ultimate Electronics

Saw the new Pioneer BD player at UE. They just got these DEMO units in yesterday. No idea when any will come on sale though. Need to get it in home to audition properly. Any one see them elsewhere?

Saw the Pioneer Elite BD Player at Best Buy tonight. I asked the employee there and he said they were available for pre-order with a release date of January 5th.

if i remember right, psiweaver has had them in his store for a month and a half or so at this point

Yeah we've had ours for a month and a half or so now. We play it all the time. I talked to my rep today and everyone is ordering blu-ray players like mad. WE have a ton on order and yes were supposed to get them around end of December beginning of January.

I haven't been posting much lately because we've been slammed at work so if you guys have questions pm me or something.

Hey Psiweaver, do you have the Aladdin demo? Could you check its bitrate on Aladdin/Hitchhiker/Flighplan/Narnia on the Sony player or the PS3? (Don't know if the Pioneer lets you check the bitrate too). I'm Blu Curious

Is that Aladdin...as in Disney's Aladdin?

Yup. You haven't seen it? Run to the nearest Pioneer dealer showroom that has it. Watch it. Sit close, very very close to the screen, like if you were a little kid in front of your huge Paradise Theater widescreen. Watch. Smile.
