Remote Code Help - Blu-ray Forum

I'm looking to get an actual universal remote in the future, but for the mean time, I'm wanting to use the remote that came with the onkyo receiver. I have a KDL-40v2500 sony tv. Does anybody know the remote code for this tv? I've looked everywhere and nobody has it posted. I do know the remote is a RM-YD012, but that's as much as I know.

im seeing that my old onkyo receiver has different codes. what model did the remote come from?
the remote you listed is coming up as the sony tv remote. to get more accurate infi need model of receiver or maybe model of onkyo remote

I've got an Onkyo 605 receiver, I'm not sure of it's remote ID at the moment.

realized your receiver model in your sig. duh!

onkyo web site manual for it doesnt list the codes since it came in a seperate booklet. im just going to assume its the same as mine since theyre both newer models.
