Is AVP in this box set any different than this single BD copy?

There is going to be a single edition for the second movie right? I already own the first movie, and there's no way that I will buy a second copy of the same movie.

Right. Exactly my point. I own AVP already also and just pre-ordered the single AVPR from Amazon.

AVPR will be also sold as a stand-alone
The last I recall on the subject over AVP1 was over whether or not the box set was indeed different than the original Blu-ray release. Some said it was a new unrated version, and some said it was the same. I don't know if anyone ever found out for sure.

The released AVP has both rated and unrated you can select to watch.

Wow, that bad huh? I guess I have to buy it to see for myself how horrible it is. If its just average to mediocre then I blame you for the blind buy. I am expecting something so horrible that I wish to go blind.

If I were you I'd just print out all my own designs for my covers and toss the crap that they come with. Or do you already do that?

If so, you need to let me in on that so I can pay you for these hot custom covers.

Have you been to the thread dedicated to these fake covers? This guy and a couple others come up with some absolute beauties in there.

Looking at the cover art it seems like both movies on the pack are Unrated versions.

Why is the predator always on the left side with the ALIEN text and the alien is always on the right side with the Predator?

I liked it better than the first one. If you like the Alien/Predator movies and aren't aren't a total geek about them (picking apart every little thing wrong with the script/continuity) then you should enjoy this.

Referring to AVP (the first movie)

You mean like how the ingestion time from when the face-hugger implanted the embryo to bursting from the hosts' chest took just a few minutes? (It took days in Ridley Scott's original Alien.)

You mean like how the baby Alien grew to full adult size practically in the next scene?

You mean like how there were dozens and dozens of adult Aliens on the loose when the exploration party consisted of just a handful of "hosts?"

I know, it's all ridiculous. But I really like AVP anyway. I am hoping I will like AVPR as well. Still, I have some doubts.
